Dr. Rudy Melson, CEO & PRESIDENT
Dr. Rudy S. Melson is President of Consultants for America’s Veterans, LLC. also known as CAV, a company dedicated to helping U.S. Military Veterans and Service Members. He also serves as a Lecturer at USC Dana and David Dornsife College for, Letters, Arts and Sciences, and as a public health consultant to the U.S. Uniformed Services.
Dr. Melson, a U.S. Military Veteran, entered the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary Civil Air Patrol at age seventeen. He served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps ROTC as a Midshipman and enlisted in the United States Army as a Healthcare Specialist. He culminated his military career as an Health Services Officer in the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.
Dr. Melson’s healthcare background and education have allowed him to serve in prestigious civilian roles during his career including appointments as a Clinical Risk Manager for the Weed Army Community Hospital, Ft. Irwin, CA; and, a Clinical Systems Informatics Training Instructor at the Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY.
Dr. Rudy S. Melson’s interests include domestic and global Evidence-based Integrative Medicine (EBIM) and academic research for military veteran health care policy and management issues.
